The 34th annual Alamo Heights Night celebration will take place on Friday April 17, 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm at the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word at 4301 Broadway. Volunteers are needed prior to the event for event setup, during the event and after the event for cleanup. Most volunteer slots are for two hour shifts.
Volunteers are essential to the success of Alamo Heights Night. Funds raised at Alamo Heights Night have provided scholarships to hundreds of students attending university and vocational training programs as well as support to local charities and community service projects.
If you are interested in volunteering for Alamo Heights Night, there are several opportunities to choose from, including food/drink tickets sales, water/soda sales, beer, wine, margarita sales, and other opportunities. Volunteers obtain FREE entry to the event. When you click on any of the links below, you will be connected to the SignUpGenius website where you can register for one or more volunteer positions.

VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION SIGN UP LINKS
Below are short job descriptions of several volunteer positions available. Each of the links will take you to the specific page for that described specific type of volunteer position. Food/Drink/Rides Ticket Sales – help sell tickets that are used to purchase food, drinks, and kids activities at the event.

Beer Booths – Volunteers are needed for both can and draft beer booths. Volunteers must be must be 21 to sell alcoholic beverages. Volunteers should arrive 10 minutes before the start of their shift. A TABC training certificate that is good past April 17, 2020 is required and must be brought to AHN 2020. On the registration/sign up page are instructions concerning obtaining and being reimbursed for TABC License training if you need it.

Event Admin Activities – Operate the Entrance and Exit Gates, HQ Booth, golf car drivers, and volunteer check in booth.

Set up/Tear Down – Assist in setting up the event site on April 16 & 17 Before the event and assist in closing down the event site after the event is over on Friday night (April 17) or Saturday morning (April 18).
